An existing customer, Great River Energy extends their use of Ascend’s SmartTouch AP Imaging Automation system across the organization, and implements and SmartTouch AIR. Great River Energy will rely upon Ascend’s financial automation suite to digitally capture and OCR hard copy invoices, and automatically route them for approval. Great River Energy provides wholesale electric service to 28 distribution cooperatives in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Those member cooperatives distribute electricity to more than 650,000 member consumers - or about 1.7 million people.
